Nursery Rhymes

This week we will be exploring nursery rhymes. This is a great way to work on phonemic awareness and we have some fun activities planned, such as making curds and whey using milk and vinegar when we learn about Little Miss Muffet. If you have any nursery rhyme books at home that you would like your child to share with the class, we would love to borrow them for the week.
We will also be checking out books this week for the first time and the children are very excited. Please reinforce book handling with your child and discuss the importance of keeping their books in their book bag to and from school so they are not lost.
We would like to thank Camden's grandmother for being our guest reader and sharing two of her books with us. We really enjoyed having her read to us!
